Fiber Optic & Structured Cabling Services
We deliver contractor-grade fiber optic cabling, structured cabling, and low voltage network cabling for businesses: installation, termination, fusion splicing, and testing with OTDR traces, power meter results, and certification reports.
Service Catalog
These are the BOFU scopes customers hire us for. Each item can also be its own service page.
Commercial Fiber Optic Cabling Installation
- Indoor, outdoor, and armored fiber (environment + pathway dependent)
- Backbone fiber for network infrastructure and building connectivity
- Pathways: conduit, tray, risers, and secure telecom spaces
- Common types: single-mode OS2, multi-mode OM3/OM4
Fiber Termination (LC/SC) + Patch Panels (MDF/IDF)
- MDF/IDF termination, fiber enclosures, LIUs, slack management
- Patch panels, panel maps, labeling schedules
- Clean cable management for serviceability and future growth
Fusion Splicing & Restoration
- Fusion splicing for backbone builds and restoration work
- Splice enclosure placement and protection
- Damage isolation → repair → verification testing
OTDR Testing + Power Meter Testing + Certification Reports
- OTDR traces and event analysis (as required)
- Insertion-loss testing (power meter / light source)
- Pass/fail loss budgets, closeout documentation, turnover packages
Emergency Fiber Repair (Dispatch)
- Outage troubleshooting and rapid response
- Fiber cut repair / splicing / restoration
- Post-repair testing and validation
Interbuilding / Campus Fiber Installation
- Building-to-building fiber connectivity
- Outdoor/armored fiber as required by environment
- Pathway planning + install + test + closeout documentation
Structured Cabling & Network Cabling (Voice & Data)
Many customers bundle fiber with structured cabling for complete communications infrastructure.
- Low voltage network cabling pathways and organization for scalable operations
- MDF/IDF cleanup, labeling, and documentation
- Coordination with Wi-Fi, access control, and camera uplinks (where applicable)
What Drives Cost
Fiber cabling is priced by scope and constraints, not “internet plans.”
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Pathway (conduit, tray, underground, aerial) | Access, labor, equipment, and safety vary significantly. |
| Distance + strand count | Material handling and termination scope scale with footage and fibers. |
| Fiber type (OS2 vs OM3/OM4) | Selection depends on distance, optics, and environment. |
| Termination quantity | Connector/panel work is typically a major portion of labor. |
| Testing & reporting | OTDR + insertion-loss reports support closeout and reduce troubleshooting. |
| Scheduling (after-hours/cutovers) | Windows can affect staffing and total cost. |
FAQs
Are you an ISP?
No. We do not sell internet service. We install and maintain fiber optic cabling infrastructure for commercial and industrial facilities.
Do you provide OTDR traces and certification reports?
Yes. We can provide OTDR traces plus insertion-loss results (power meter/light source), loss budgets, and closeout documentation when required.
Can you handle MDF/IDF work?
Yes. We terminate fiber in MDF/IDF rooms, install patch panels/enclosures, label endpoints, and produce documentation for turnover and serviceability.
What fiber types do you install?
Common types include single-mode OS2 and multi-mode OM3/OM4. The best option depends on distance, bandwidth needs, optics, and environment.
